Path of Service: An OpenAgile Champion is a knowledgeable and experienced practitioner of OpenAgile methods that recognizes and communicates the many benefits of the OpenAgile to those both inside and outside of the OpenAgile Community. Additionally, OpenAgile Champions commit to materially contribute to the theoretical development or practical application of OpenAgile through the provision of advice, services, or contribution to the OpenAgile body of promotional, educational, or foundational materials.

Requirements of Champions:
OpenAgile Champions must maintain membership in the OpenAgile community at least one of the following ways:
1. Signing up on the www.openagile.com website;
2. Signing up on the wiki.openagile.org website;
3. Joining the OpenAgile Google group; or,
4. Responding to an invitation from an existing OpenAgile champion to contribute to the development of OpenAgile through the provision of advice, services, or materials.

The most important requirement of an OpenAgile Champion is to contribute to the development of the OpenAgile body of promotional, educational, or foundational materials in some way shape or form.

Method of Becoming an OpenAgile Champion:
Anyone may become an OpenAgile Champion by accepting the invitation of a current OpenAgile Champion to join the existing group of Champions. Once this invitation is accepted the inviting Champion will announce the addition of the new member of the Champion community and request the inclusion of the new member on any published lists of Champions.
