Subject: Thank you for joining the OpenAgile community

---

Hi ________,

Thank you for joining OpenAgile.com and welcome to the OpenAgile community!

OpenAgile is a learning system designed to help you, as well as your team and organization, deliver valuable results to whoever has a stake in your work. We believe OpenAgile will add value to whatever work you do. And because OpenAgile is open source, your involvement and feedback fuels OpenAgile's future growth and development.

Learning characterizes everything we do in OpenAgile. We believe everyone has innate potential that can only emerge through proper education. Learning is the means by which we produce valuable results - whether it is in the form of improved products and services, better processes and tools, or deeper interactions with the people around us. That's why we say "Learning is the key that unlocks human capacity." As you learn more about OpenAgile, we recommend you begin with the Learning Manifesto.

You are welcome to build your capacity in all aspects of OpenAgile for free. We publish the official, stable versions of all of the OpenAgile manuals and materials on the OpenAgile official webiste. You are welcome to access and learn from the materials as they become available. In addition, if you would like to receive recognition that you have developed certain capacities, you may apply for certification from the OpenAgile Institute. If you are interested, we recommend you review the OpenAgile Certification Program.

When you are ready to begin building capacity in OpenAgile, please take a moment to read The OpenAgile Primer. It is a great place to learn the foundational concepts of OpenAgile. After you read the Primer, we recommend consolidating your learning by taking the Basic Readiness Knowledge Test. Upon passing the test, you will automatically be certified as having achieved the first level of capacity. This level is free. To pass the test you will need a perfect score (100%), and you can take the test as many times as you need. I have updated your account so you have access to take the Readiness Certificate Test anytime you are ready.

There are other ways you can engage with the OpenAgile community, and you are welcome to join them all. The first is the OpenAgile wiki - this is the place where much of the development on future releases of manuals and materials gets developed. We can also be found on social networks and groups.

Welcome again to the OpenAgile community.
